Turkish
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country will continue to make the
necessary adjustments to improve the investment climate in Turkey, considering
the reactions that come from abroad.
Erdogan
made the remarks in his meeting on Wednesday evening with US corporate
officials in Turkey at the presidential complex in Ankara.
Erdogan
said that Turkey has been able to fulfill great achievements in the field of
economy and investment during the past 16 years, despite all the turmoil and
conflicts in the region, and was able to overcome the ordeals currently facing.
Turkey's
future will be brighter and more prosperous, Erdogan said, hoping that the
consultations, which will be held during turbulent times of global trade, will
be beneficiary to countries, companies and all entrepreneurs.
"I
think our strategic relationship with America will be enhanced through
investment and trade, despite all the fluctuations," he said.
Erdogan's
meeting with foreign company officials was attended by Turkish Minister of
Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan and Deputy
Secretary-General of the AKP Party Lutfi Elvan.
